If you have a silver filling that you’d like replaced, we can accommodate that. This process requires two appointments. At your first appointment, the old filling is removed along with any additional decay. An impression is made of your tooth, and a model is made and sent to the lab while a temporary onlay is placed on the tooth. At the lab, a porcelain restoration is carefully made to fit your tooth precisely and look natural. At your second appointment, the temporary onlay is removed. A conditioning gel is placed on your tooth to prepare it for the new onlay. Bonding cement is placed on the tooth, and a high-intensity light bonds the porcelain to the tooth, which is then polished. Your teeth are restored to a natural look and feel, they are stronger, and the tooth is protected!
Dental implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. The person who lost teeth will regain the ability to eat freely and can smile with confidence, knowing that their teeth appear natural and that their facial contours will be preserved.
